exhibits scanned photos found in my family archives. During the 80s, my maternal family immigrated from Cambodia to the United States as a result of the Khmer Rouge. After a long trek from Cincinnati, Ohio, they arrived in Long Beach, California.
Lighting cigarettes for wedding guests was a popular Chinese custom in the '90s. In some photos, you can see people wearing traditional Cambodian clothing to celebrate the newlyweds.
